Paul Sweeny

Paul Joined Vertex as CEO and as a Director of Jessop Fund Managers in August 2009 with responsibility for leading the business through its next growth phase.
Prior to joining Paul spent 16 years with IBM. He was recruited in 1993 to help build the newly formed services business, and at his departure was Global Managing Director of the Financial Services Business and responsible for the relationships with some of the largest financial services clients. Before this role, he led IBM's global utilities outsourcing business. His experience also covered leadership of IBM's global sales and business development in business process outsourcing.
In the 11 year run up to 1993, Paul held several executive positions in the UK, US and Canada with SHL. SHL was then one of the world's largest computer systems integration and management companies.
