Gavin James
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Gavin joined Vertex as CFO on 2 January 2008.
Gavin's prior role was Group Finance Director for iSoft, a leading global provider of software solutions for the healthcare industry. Part of Gavin's remit on joining iSoft was to bring rigour and transparency to the financial management of the business. He was central to re-establishing the credibility of the business with clients and regulators, identifying and implementing critical changes to governance, internal controls and reporting.
He was formerly Finance Director of Morse plc from 1998 to 2005 and before that was Group Finance Director of Menveir-Swain Group plc.
He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
